November: Do you have any rituals or requirements for getting in the mood for writing?
Requirements no. If I'm in the right mood, I can write anywhere (including the jewellery counter at work, but you didn't hear that from me).
But I have gotten into the habit of doing somethings to help my focus when my ADHD decides to rear its ugly head. Generally, I like lighting scented candles and saying a quick prayer to the muses (I'm a pagan) and throwing on some movie soundtracks. Sometimes it helps, sometimes my loss of focus is beyond repair, but it's always worth a try!
