Gosh, this comic is so lovely! I love the way Whiteley draws both of the husbands, keeping them recognisablewhile still adding her own flare to them! I'm also just Weak for The Prince of Egypt, and it's clear that Whiteley drawing from the movie's colour pallet. 1950s Soviet counterculture is a fascinating idea for an AU! And these two feel so in character despite the change in geography (tho it took me a while to get used to Russian Napoleon Solo). It's a great little multi-chapter fic and I love every second of it. It's pretty easy to forget that jazz was super countercultural back when it was first introduced to a white audience, and seeing it keep that cultural significance in a different country at a different time is absolutely fascinating!

Oh man, this fic is precious. I love the idea of Harry bringing a teeny tiny puppo home and Merlin reluctantly warming up to it. And I love this fic's characterisation of Eggsy as well! There's also a sequel out right now and hopefully a part three coming soon, but in the meantime, this fic is so much fun!

I loved this fic! There's something so perfectly in-character about Illya feeling like he needs to hide his illnesses and injuries. Napoleon, Illya, and Gaby also have such wonderful chemistry in their scenes together AND Napoleon and Illya need to share a room??? Sign me up!

Can I out myself as a Starker fan? Welp, too late. I really love the way Peter is written here, it feels very true to form. I think a lot of Starker fics often like to infantalise him, but he does feel very much like a young adult here. I initially saw this one rec'd by tozka and decided to check it out for myself. It's a goddamn masterpiece. Percy's PTSD feels wonderfully realistic, I love the way Credence is written, and the extra character work done with everyone who works at MACUSA (including Copperhead, who is the best OC IMO)... Y'all, I can't rec this fic enough. If some post-FB1 Gradence with a focus on healing from trauma is up your alley, check this out! You won't regret it!

I know I already rec'd another fic in this series a few days ago, but this is my blog and I do what I want! Also while In the Garden After Dark is a fun romp through Crack Treated Seriously territory, Harry's backstory is a lot darker and a bit more involved, while still feeling like part of the same universe as In the Garden. It's a tough tightrope to walk, but I think Cox manages to pull it off! Also I love the way she writes Percival and how she manages to squeeze in a little Eggsy backstory as well. It's a great piece from a great series by a great author!

This one comes with a big asterisk, since I've only read up to Chapter 4, and the work is incomplete and hasn't been updated since September but I am LOVING what I've read so far! This fic is VERY dark, but I love the attention to detail with the A/B/O worldbuilding. It's one of the few A/B/O darkfics that I've read that doesn't feel completely over-the-top. And Harry and Eggsy being soulmates is always a bonus for yours truly. Hopefully, if we can give the author some love they might update at some point? My friends, please remember to keep your mind open, because if I still had that opinion, I would not be enjoying a lovely fic like this! I love the character work that Anarchy has done with Eggsy, giving him a successful career as a marine (and all the dicipline and baggage that comes with it). I, for one, love the fact that Call Me By Your Name fandom almost always writes Oliver's wife as an interesting and sympathetic character. Kit is no different: snarky and quick-witted, it's clear why she and Oliver would have gotten along. I also really like that she even bothers to try and be on good terms with Elio. But in all seriousness, the Percy Jackson books are incredible, and this fic fits perfectly into that pedigree. I was genuinely blown away by the diversity of characters I received fics about! I think I made it abundantly clear that I love every single woman in Star Wars and I was so happy to see all my favourites represented in here (granted, all Star Wars women are my favourite).
