A fun idea I stole from memorizingthedigitsofpi over on tumblr.

I've personally stopped paying attention to stats and whatnot, just because I noticed that keeping track of that sort of thing doesn't actually help me with my writing. I found that it only really stressed me out and made me feel bad about the work I was doing.

But if I had to choose a fic that I wish had gotten more love, I'd probably go with my Kylux Pokemon Go fic You Can Never Win But Your Sure Can Try. I guess the reason why it underperformed was because the Pokemon Go craze had kind of died down by the time I posted it (September of 2016), but I still had plenty of fun writing it!

I've loved Pokemon for as long as I can remember, so getting to write this was so much fun for me! Especially the end with Kylo and Hux bonding. Other people may not have given it too much love, but I certainly enjoyed writing it!

I decided to shamelessly steal this idea from all-things-all-the-time over on tumblr.

Just for a bit of fun, here's the first paragraph from my 10 most recent stories.

Spirit Shackle (Fantastic Beasts, Gradence)

Credence cocked his head in confusion when Graves told him. “You want me to do what?”

Wedding Present (Assassin's Creed, Kassandra/Kyra/Thaletas)

Kyra and Thaletas were half-drunk by the end of their wedding feast, nearly stumbling over each other as they made their way back to Thaletas’ house.

Hyperspace Hole (Star Wars, Kylux)

Armitage Hux looked over the script and sneered. “Hyperspace hole? Really? Aren’t there enough Star Wars porn parodies out there?”

Night Shade (Fright Night, Charley/Jerry)

Charley didn’t want Jerry to know he’d been watching him. There was just no way he was actually a fucking vampire. And yet, the more he watched, the more it felt like the only way to explain what was going on.

Thief (Kingsman, Hartwin)

Harry Hart awoke at three in the morning to the sound of crashing glass and swearing. His reflexes, still sharp from his years of spy training, kicked in and caused him to grab the handgun he kept in his bedside drawer.

Investigation on Chandrila (Star Wars, QuiObi)

The mission was simple: Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were to investigate a rebellion on Chandrila, disguised as an arms dealer named Ardus Jerret and his enterprising young son.

Hydro Pump (Call Me By Your Name, Elio/Oliver)

It was a lazy summer day that Elio and Oliver spent together by the river. They’d stripped down to their boxers, their feet in the water as they exchanged lazy kisses. It was one of the daydreams Elio had often indulged in when he came here. When he was younger, the subject of his fantasies was, more often than not, a phantom person, representing more the idea of companionship rather than anyone specifically. This summer, even before he and Oliver had admitted their attraction, it was always Oliver who’d filled that void.

Violets in Her Lap (Star Wars, Gen, Rey-centric)

Poe and Rey had been sharing a six-pack of Corellian lum on the base at D’Qar when Rey heard of “sexuality” for the first time.

Closed Cells, Open Hearts (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Catradora)

Catra woke up to find herself in a cell in Bright Moon Castle. Someone had bothered to actually place her gently on the bed, instead of just tossing her in there.

I happen to find it really funny that almost all my opening paragraphs are a sentence or two. You can tell I just wanted to get the damn thing started, lol. If any of y'all wanna do this, go on ahead! It was pretty fun!
