Hey everyone! I'm going to try and make "Fic Rec Friday" a weekly post on this blog. These aren't fics that were posted or updated in the last week, just ones that I happened to read (though there may be some overlap there). Mae was actually one of the first writers I read for Call Me By Your Name, and I read her updates religiously when I get the time! The story itself is absolutely lovely. It reminds me a lot of being in my own senior year in high school and all the crazy shit my friends and I got up to. But she puts in all these fantastic little details that call back to canon, and the characters are written in such a way that they still feel like themselves!

Ah man, I am in LOVE with this fic! Writingramblr is the QUEEN of smut, and some of her storytelling skills really shine here. Graves is perfectly characterised, and I loved seeing Credence's point of view and how his upbringing impacted him. Not to mention brain_curry's lovely artwork! It's a great piece, and I can't recommend it enough.

What a Valentine's Day gift! Sorcery and Writingramblr's styles work perfectly together, and, as always, the smut is to die for. Read this one a little while after it came out, so it does indeed qualify for this list. I love the characterisation of both Graves and Credence here. I love how Graves is, essentially, a tiger on a leash who allows Credence to tame him, and how Credence accepts that offer! This is the quality content we deserve!

I know I Don't Normally Go Here, but I had to read Watchmen for my graphic novel class, and let me tell you, it is incredible! I know this fic is short and old (the fandom is small and mostly quiet, since it's been a decade since the Snyder movie came out), but I was pleasantly surprised by this fic! For some reason, fem!Eddie Blake is a concept that my gay little heart didn't know it needed. This fic is just some quick and dirty smut, but sometimes, that's all you need.

I reread this one fairly recently, though I was lucky enough to follow it as it was being written. While the surrounding plot may seem a bit pulpy and like something out of an action movie, M_Monoceros really fleshes out Timmy, Luca,and Armie to the point where you really do love their relationship and want to see them succeed. She even adds some fantastic layers involving Armie's ex-wife (in the story, they're married in real life), but I won't spoil all that good stuff for you. Go read it yourself!
