Dear Creator,

Thanks so much for signing up for the exchange! I've written out specific "prompts" (read: brain vomit) for each fandom, but anything from my "Things I Love" list works a-okay for me!

Things I Love
  • Smut
  • ABO dynamics
  • BDSM (preferably both scenes and aftercare)
  • Fluff
  • Hurt/comfort
  • I am SUPREMELY WEAK for post-action patch-ups
  • Platonic friendships of all sorts
  • F/F ships
  • Expanded worldbuilding
  • Angst (preferably with a happy ending)
  • Fics focusing on healing from trauma
  • Found family
  • NB/Transgender characters
  • Canon divergence
  • Historical AUs
  • Modern AUs
  • Meet-cute
Do Not Wants
  • Content focusing on suicide/suicidal ideation and eating disorders (though it's fine if it's part of a character's backstory)
  • Non-con
  • Major character death
  • Unhappy endings (but I'm totally okay with bittersweet ones. I just don't like endings where it's just like.... there's no hope and everything is bad)
  • Hurt without comfort
  • The following kinks: Stuffing/weight gain, watersports, blood play, age play, vore, forced feminisation, daddy kink
  • Sexual content between a minor and an adult (18+)
  • Sexual content involving characters under the age of 16
  • M-Preg

The Song of Achilles

So first of all, I love this entire book, so jot that down. I obviously love Achilles and Patroclus, but there's also plenty of other characters I love as well. Chief amoung them are Briseis and Thetis, but I'm also very weak for Odysseus and Penelope (an Odysseus/Penelope reunion with Miller's characterisation would be to die for).

I love Briseis' strength and her friendship/love for Patroclus, and I love love love Miller's interpretation of Thetis. If you choose to dive into Thetis, I'd love to see what goes on in her head! What's her thought process like? Why does she dislike Patroclus so much? How does she feel about being married to Peleus for the rest of eternity? Like, Peleus is a good guy and all, but he also violated her at the request of the gods and it's clearly impacted the way she sees him (and presumably all mortal men).

Achilles/Patroclus: This is the OTP to end all OTPs. Search your feelings, you know it to be true. I LOVE Miller's Patroclus and her haughty-yet-sweet Achilles. Any excuse to watch them play off of each other is fine by me. If you want to do a modern AU, I'm certainly not opposed to an OT3 with Briseis (though it'd be more of a V with Patroclus in the middle bc Achilles is Very Gay in TSOA). Trans!Achilles is very important to me, but I think that would work best in a modern setting.

A Separate Peace

This is more of an excuse to beg you, dear creator, to feed my high school desire to see Gene and Finny smooch. When I read this as a freshman, I immediately pegged Gene as having repressed his feelings for Finny, choosing to interpret them as hatred because That's What Men Feel, Right? I love Finny's soft masculinity and cool confidence and how little fucks he seems to give about anyone's opinion of him.

If you feel up to it and want to try and copy Knowles' style for canonverse fics, go for it! It's really fun to write in. (I kind of fell in love with it bc we read this book right in between The Old Man and the Sea and A Tale of Two Cities, so compared to its neighbours, it was easily my favourite style).

Modern AU's are always fun. In high school, I think Finny would be that one guy on the swim team who came out freshman year and gives zero fucks about how you interpret his masculinity, meanwhile Gene is this quiet academic who does really well but doesn't really have much of a social life. He's also Finny's best friend and no one really understands why he keeps him around. Does Finny manage to drag Gene out of the closet kicking and screaming through his good looks and sweet demeanour alone? Yes. Yes he does.

Finny is a disaster boy on paper; Gene is a disaster boy in real life. Maybe between the two of them, there is one (1) functioning human being.

Alexander Trilogy/Historical RPF

Grouping these together bc Alexander the Great is generally the theme here, and I LOVE Renault's interpretation of basically everyone!

I'd love to see a modern AU where Roxanna, Bagoas, and Hephaistion are all in love with Alexander, who doesn't see any issues in having so many partners (and is utterly blind to Roxanna and Bagoas' jealous tendancies, meanwhile Hephaistion is just content that he Was There First and Has Already Won). They're a clusterfuck of an OT4, and I'd like to see how they manage to balance all the big personalities at work. Do they all share Alexander like divorced parents? Do they have Sunday dinner together and try not to murder each other for Alexander's sake? The potential for comedy here is astronomical, but I'd also like to see it handled from a more dramatic standpoint if possible.

In terms of canonverse, I'm especially weak for Bagoas' perspective. Him watching Alexander do basically anything gives me LIFE. But, again, I love all of them and if you're especially eager to bump around in any of their heads, give it a go! I'd like to make a special request for Bagoas getting spoiled and being happy bc there really isn't enough of that in The Persian Boy (or, like, in real life). Mostly, though, I'm just hungry for Content.

The Picture of Dorian Gray

I'm a simple bitch. I see some Oscar Wilde, I want some gay shit. I generally ship Henry/Basil/Dorian as one big poly triangle in a perfect world, but that's not quite how it would go down in canonverse.

Dorian/Basil: I love this ship bc how it goes down REALLY depends on whether or not Dorian's corruption has been completed yet. I'd like some Basil POV bc we don't get enough of it in the book IMO. For pre-corruption Dorian, just Basil hopelessly longing for him and being Very Gay would make my heart sing. For post-corruption Dorian, I really like that trope of "Dorian and Basil finally get together but Basil knows that Something Is Very Wrong." Fluffy modern AUs also work for me too, maybe with Basil as an art professor and Dorian as a volunteer model (nude or otherwise)?? Maybe in a modern setting, he'd actually get the guts to just ask Dorian out before Henry can get to him.

Basil/Henry: They're a good ship. I'm, like, 90% sure that they're exes in canon. I love seeing how Basil is able to basically read Henry like a book, and Henry just kind of... lets him. They've clearly been friends forever, and if you'd like to explore that, you're welcome to! I'd also like to see a Modern AU where they're just Old Married Men and Basil has to constantly reign in his Dumb Pretentious Husband whose mouth is more trouble than it's worth.

Henry/Dorian: This is another fun one bc of Dorian's corruption. I'd like to see some contrast between pre-corruption Dorian and post-corruption Dorian and how he relates with Henry. I also encourage you to explore all the ways that Henry definitely knows what a garbage person Dorian is and all the lies he tells himself so he doesn't feel responsible. And maybe it goes from Henry trying to seduce Dorian to Dorian trying (and succeeding) to seduce Henry? They're such great fun to play around with!

She-Ra (2018)

I love this show and I love everyone in it??? My favourite princess is probably Scorpia (she counts!), but I love how much life Noelle has managed to breathe into these characters while still keeping them fun and girly! This is one of those shows that I'm genuinely shocked even qualifies for Yuletide/Fic Mountain!

I LOVE Catradora. Noelle gives such great layers to their relationship, and they're both SUCH good characters. Like, fuck man. I love ALL the Catradora. I'd like to see some fluff with Catra and Adora in the Horde together and also maybe an AU where Adora never found the sword? Or maybe a canon divergence where Catra ends up taking the throne from Hordak?

Mermista and Seahawk were my immediate favs. I love how much of a flamboyant disaster boy Hawk is and Mermista not giving a fuck (but actually giving a ton of fucks and just not showing it). Seahawk/Bow is a good ship too??? But Seahawk/Mermista is also adorable.

Glimmer is an AMAZING character too! I loved her arc and watching her become more open-minded and accepting of Adora and a bit less set in her ways. Glimmer/Adora is another great ship. They play off each other so well! maybe a little hurt/comfort where Glimmer accidentally confesses after her powers were taken away?

Honestly, the sky is the limit with this fandom! Just, like, have fun with it.

Lost Boys

Hi, wow, I love this movie. *Stefon voice* This film has everything! 80's-ness, vampires, motorcycles, bangin' soundtrack, GOTH KIEFER SUTHERLAND.

Fun fact: Star was amoung my earliest girl crushes and I'm love her. I'd like to see a bit more detail about her. How did she end up with David? How did she resist killing for so long? (It's implied she's been a vampire since the 60s/70s from her reaction to Michael's "my parents were hippies" comment). Where did she come from? What's up with her and Laddie?

David/Michael: Most of the fics I've read deal with Michael going full vampire and characterise David as just kind of a generic baddie. We already know a lot about Michael (he's rebellious, but he's ultimately hardworking and cares deeply for those around him), but we really don't know a great deal about David. I'd like to know what drew him to Michael in the first place. I'm especially curious about who David was before he was turned into a vampire, how much of that person still remains, and if Michael is at all able to draw it out. The other vampires have to idolise him for more than just him being the oldest (it's not clear whether he's their sire or if Max is, b/c Michael drank Max's blood that night, and we also know that Max probably also sired Star and Laddie because they don't turn back until after he's killed). I think there's a lot of potential with David beyond just what we see in canon, so I'd love to see someone play around with it a bit.

Bonus characters that weren't on the list of nominations include Nanook, Sam, and the Frog Brothers. Yes, Nanook does count as a character despite being a dog.
